The Fiber Optic POF (Polymer Optical Fiber) system solutions ensure stable transmission even under harsh conditions, such as cable tension, bending, and thermal stress. They are actually ideally suited to such conditions thanks to the use of robust ODU connectors. By design, the contacts – and thus the entire system solution – are largely impervious to soiling. For short transmission distances, POF technology is a particularly cost‐effective solution.
