What advantages do ODU interface connectors offer over standard data technology interfaces?

Standard interfaces were designed for indoor use. ODU system solutions with data technology inserts, on the other hand, can provide extremely secure connections even in harsh environments. Our outstanding product quality also guarantees the usual high number of mating cycles.

Why should you choose a system solution for data technology products?

The relevant technologies are designed as fully assembled data technology system solutions for the respective applications. To ensure a 100% error-free connection, the entire system solution should always be evaluated in terms of the required data technology. A connector can only meet the requirements for the customer’s application in combination with the right cable.

Which ODU connectors are available as data technology system solutions?

Data technology solutions are available for all main product series, including ODU MINI-SNAP®, ODU AMC®, and ODU-MAC®. With these series, the Ethernet, USB®, HDMI® and DisplayPort® protocols can be mapped respectively.

What else must be taken into account when ordering data technology assemblies as opposed to standard connections?

With the exception of Ethernet, data technology connections based on the ODU-MAC® Blue-Line are only sold assembled on both sides. This is due, among other things, to the fact that every data technology assembly undergoes RF inspection.

Can I see the documentation for the respective tests?

For all data technology assemblies, laboratory test reports are prepared which can also be requested by our customers.
